Peste ¼ kg de pulpă de măceşe se pune ½ litru de apă în clocot, lăsându-se la macerat 12 ore. Apoi se filtrează, se adaugă ½ kg zahăr. Se fierbe până ce capătă consistenţa specifică siropului.Foarte bogat in vitamina C.

Pour ½ liter boiling water on ¼ kg rose hips pulp (no seeds or hairy parts) and let it macerate for 12 hours. After that you filter it and add ½ kg sugar. Boil it until wanted consistency is reached. The syrup is richer in C Vitamin than citrus fruits.
